This delightful book contains the childhood memories of the author in the early 20th century, when her family lived in Woodruff Place. Her tales of their happy association with the T.C. Steele family and the activities  of these early Woodruff Place families will give you many hours of pleasant reading. This memoir would be a great addition to any Woodruff Place coffee table. The author and her twin brother James were born on December 7, 1906 at the Dugdale family home in Woodruff Place. She wrote this book in 1989 and graciously donated the copies to preserve the antiquity of this historical neighborhood.
