The Historic Woodruff Place Foundation is hosting a cocktail party in support of its Tech Campus Educational Fund, a Fund devoted to encouraging academic excellence on the Tech campus through donations of educational materials and resources.   The primary goal for 2009 is a donation of 100 John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath .   The books will be featured in new American Studies curriculum taught through the Math/Science Magnet Academy at Tech.     Guests are asked to contribute $10 (the cost of one book).   The event will be held at 763 West Drive from 5:30 to 8:00 on December 4 th .   Beer, wine and cocktails will be served along with hors d'oeuvres and a few delicacies from the Great Depression--have you ever tried Ritz Cracker Mock Apple Pie?     Call Kevin and Mari Garing at 636-7457 with questions or to RSVP.
