Our annual Salute to America starts with a parade where everyone – kids, pets, and adults – is encouraged to march, decorated in patriotic garb. Prizes will be awarded by age group in a variety of categories. The Woodruff Place Lawn Chair Brigade and Umbrella Chicks plus the Metropolitan Police Mounted Patrol will be part of our parade. The parade route takes everyone to our Town Hall for a flag-raising ceremony, prizes for the best costumes, games for the kids, and the annual wheel barrow race.
