There is much that needs to be done each and every year to maintain and improve our very special neighborhood. The Woodruff Place Civic League is responsible for the organization and operation of the neighborhood. The Civic League created the Woodruff Place Historic Foundation, a qualified not-for-profit group under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This group addresses historic concerns and focuses on fundraising for preservation projects, including:

Financial support comes from our fundraising activities (such as the annual Flea Market), monetary grants, and resident contributions. Every contribution is important, and the success of Woodruff Place is the result of dedicated neighbors who have invested in the belief that this unique place can continue to be a vibrant historic urban neighborhood.
